Default engine light on

hello , anybody know where is the connector for the check engine light.for 96 si prelude . the car is in the shop mechanic cannot find it.

It is in the back of the center console attached to a metal bracket behind the radio. Put your head down by the gas pedal and look between the firewall and the back of the center console, you will see two plugs that aren't pluged into anything. The one you want is blue. Hope that helps.

You could check it yourself, just attach a wire to each of the connectors on the bracket and then tie them together, it will look like a U, then turn the key and watch the check engine light flash and that will give you the problem, thats what i did for my 92, should be the same i think?
