Default prelude rear brakes

well my mechanic told me to do my rear rotors and calipers
i got some prices, but my friend that looked it up said he would do it for me but it requires a special honda tool that he doesnt have and is very expensive.
is this true? if so what is it?
i cant imagine all of you guys taking your cars in for new brakes, so what do you guys do?

mike*** to be honest with you i have not known anything like that. about a special tool to do the brakes. just a very big socket to take the crown nut off with. so check it out and look to see what you need first. it is not that hard.
