New DC Sports 2.5" Collecter Headers
#11
I only have CAI right now, i just got the car. im debating on getting exhaust because i dont want my car any louder. the only thing i want from custom exhaust is performance. if a header makes it a little deeper thats fine. i just dont like the loud rappy sounds of custom exhaust. so can anyone suggest or link me to what would be considered a decent header for a 99 SH?
any recomendations?
should i stay away from ceramic?

yeh my freind didnt want to spend too much on getting a header so he went for a OBX 4-2-1 ss, and its a really good header to be honest!! make sure you get a branded one.....even if its a shitish brand!
As for 10-15bhp, it is achievable but it does depend on what other parts you've fitted. My freind has a UK 4th gen H22a 'lude and has the header, a full mongoose exhaust, de cat and induction kit.
We had his car dynoed nearly a week ago and it pulled 210bhp, thats like a 20-25bhp increase depending on what it is stock, they are meant to be 185bhp but i've seen loads of dyno results saying 190bhp in stock form.
