Default just got my first Lude...

99 lude,74000 miles,5spd,red,mint condition $6700...mad nice deal either way....i got a couple questions...

biggest thing is the power doors dont work...the fuse isnt bad and it still makes the noise like each actuator is working but infact THEY ARENT lol...i figured ok well its the actuators but then i thaught about it and would it make sense that both actuators would be semi-broken?(they move just arent strong enough) or is it a fault in the connection??

also...all the plastic on the car is faded to near pink .. i wanna take off my side mirrors to paint them with the new FUSION plastic paint (black) but i cant get my door panels off...i havent spent to much time lookin but all i can find on my 5th gen is the plastic rivets on the front side of the door panel...anyone know what else is holding it on

last question is how much of a race will my friends 96 gsr 4dr be against me..hes got the v2,skunk intake manifold, and skunk exhaust....i know hell smoke me but how close will it be? ??? and if he doesnt then i feel badddddddddd for him haha

96 gsr shouldn't be too tough for a 5th gen prelude. You should easily win that.

Considering the v2, intake mani, and exhuast, it'll be more even.

At this point, it's really up to the driver I think. Chances are he'll win, becuase he's had his car longer, has put more work into it, and probably is more familiar with it.

Anyways, a stock gsr could beet you if you havn't mastered the prelude yet.

Good luck sir.

it will be pretty even race from a dead stop... otherwise i'd have to say the GSR has the up on you.

yea that's a good deal, PICTURES?!

The h22 and gsr are fairly close.. i've noticed though car for car... prelude pulls on the gsr 4th-5th gear. The cars are so close that driver will make the difference.
