Default 1st gear shudder please help

ok I was test driving a 99 sh (hoping to buy) and the clutch literally went out. The clutch catch point kept moving up until it was constantly in gear... So I told the guy if he got it fixed I would buy the car... So he did he got the clutch replaced and the flywheel resurfaced. So I test drive it again but this time when clutch is all the way in and when brought to catch point while car is say at 2300 rpms the car freaking shudders and shakes violently. So I buy it anyway (thinking its under the warranty It'll be fine) and go get the clutch adjusted from the people who did the repairs... that night my friend and I are out testing to see if it still does the shuddering. He has it in like 4th going about 70 we hear a rattling noise coming from engine bay. we come to a stop at redlight then go into 1st gear car shudders way more... he goes to 5500 and rattling is louder, misses 2nd gear, now I can move the shift knob into any gears and clutch is in neutral permanently... so we had to push it to gas station. I know missing any gear does not damage car... I'm thinking the people didn’t install the clutch right or forgot to put the clutch band on... I'm hoping someone can give me insight about the shuddering and what is causing it.. I don’t want to get screwed over by these people. they said that if someone races it or does burnouts blah blah it can damage clutch (yah maybe if u have car for like 1 yr and do it every night) I have had the car for 3 weeks... no way can u damage a clutch that fast. Sorry about the lengthy read but I'm very unhappy right now about this stupid clutch problem. and am hoping to get a grasp maybe on why its doing that shuddering so I can see what the mechanics say . Thanks for the help.

Theres a break-in period recomended for clutches. Youre supposed to take it easy for 500 miles.

Is the release bearing worn? Some people change the plate and cover and forget the bearing.... The judder might be mis-alignment / loose mountings?
