Was cruising around tonight with one of my friends and we came across some junky looking car stuck in the grass in some remote parking lot in the backwoods of blacksburg.

Turned out to be an 84 prelude and it looked pretty beat up, possible track car maybe but it was only $250.

I called the number on the car, but no one picked up the phone so i left a message.

Can anyone give me some info on the car? I'm thinking of probably dropping in a different engine maybe the 2.2 SI or maybe an integra engine.

I'm also not sure what parts swap to the 84, but from little i've read it seems to be a pretty fun car.

The ODO said like 44k, but id say it probably rolled over.

The only way I'd take an '84 Prelude is if someone paid ME to take it.....

Good luck finding OEM parts, let alone aftermarket. And any plan of putting an engine made in the last 10 years into it can be scrapped (unless you're in to heavy chasis and body modifications to make it fit.)

Thanks guys, thats what i was thinking anyway.

From what i was reading on the internet, it looked pretty crappy haha.

I guess ill keep on the look out for a 2.0Si or the 2.2SI or a 90-93 integra.

I guess itd be a good idea to just keep looking for something decent and just get around to fixing my car lol
