Default Thinking about a Prelude...

Hey guys

Ive got a 92 teg right now, and honestly i am gettin a little tired of it. So ive set my sights on a 93-96 Prelude. I am selling my car for 4500 bux and would prob like to spend around 7000ish. I want a srv deffinatly (or si in the states), but i do not know much about the car. Can you guys maybe tell me some stuff about it (like the engine in the srv's, i think its the h22? or h23 i forget, and the hp it has) Or if someone has some good websites on reviews, or info on this car send 'em to me please . Anyways thanks for your help!

h22 - 195-200hp, ~156tq

h23 - 160hp, ~130tq

f22 - 135hp, ~110tq

H22's are pretty hard to find in a 92-96 Lude here in the states, but you may get lucky...

The H23 is a great engine for what it is, very powerful, and the F22...well, isn't, although it is more common USUALLY.

Check out www.us.trader.com, www.autotrader.com, www.ebay.com, www.preludeonline.com, www.92lude.com AND www.honda-tech.com for Preludes for sale.

H22 can be bought for 7,000 but will require some hunting. What do you have planned for the car, what are your goals?

I want to keep the car reasonably stock. I will do i/h/e to start off. I want a black one. Rims and wheels, along with a sounds system, thats as far ahead as i would like to look.

Well it sounds like you want an h22. It has good power out of the box and if your just doing an n/a set-up. The h22 will be a fun car for you. Hope you find one.

And www.Autotrader.com I find all my cars there.

Get the 4th gen VTEC if you can find one in good condition.

You get the superior styling of the 4th gen and the power of the 5th gens. Both of best worlds IMO.
