Default manual tranny swap

what all do i need to performe a manual swap in a 2000 prelude base?

Have you done a search yet? It might be cheaper to sell your car and just buy a 5 speed. There is a guy here in the prelude forum with the screen name 5hift, he did a manual swap in his 5h gen. I would PM him.

Like was mentioned, might just be easier to sell your auto and buy a 5 spd. If you EVER plan on selling the car, go buy a 5 spd., if not, you can get the swap done for ~ 3k.

money is no matter to me this is my project car by the way. this year alone i spent almost 8 grand on my car paint motor stereo etc...

hey 5hift, did you do the swap yourself, or did you go somewhere to have it done. Nice pics of your swap.. it gives me hope, cause selling it really doesn't seem like an option for me, but anyway nice job

I paid someone to do my swap. I don't have the time, tools, or knowledge (yet) to do a full motor and trany swap. Plus I needed my car ASAP.
