5th gen lude---> when i start up the car i get a whistling noise from my oil filter....it goes away after about 5 min or after the car gets warmed up.... any ideas??? shud i get another filter???

 

Uhh... are you using a Honda filter? Pop on a Honda PCX filter (just ask them for an S2000 filter) and tell us what happens.

If you want to save a buck, you can use a PLM... the standard Honda filter for all cars other then the S2k (big PCX filter) and Insight (tiny little filter.)

 

i just changed the oil filter and the noise was gone :yay: ...i had a purolator on...and i bought a purolator pureone and slapped it on
