i have a ls vtec and i have some stuff done to it and im wondering on the cam adjustment. how much should i advance the intake cam and how much should i advance or retard the exhaust cam. ive never did this before and i was hoping some one could help, thanks

 

u have adjustable cam gears with stock cams what exactly is your set-up, and when it comes to ignition timming take it to a tunner and have them do it on the dyno

 

Adjusting the cam gears should only be done on a dyno to see what the power gains look like when you alter the settings. Just blind dialing isn't a good idea.
