need help please
i have a 93 prelude si i tuck the motor out to fix it put it back in and i had spark on the 2 cylinders on the drivers side now i have nothing i put a new coil on and a new main relay switch and i still have no spark. could it be my distributor? or my ecu? please can someone help me with the problem thanks alot
Normally, you should have sparks on all four, not two. Another words, if you crank or idle continuously and if the spark didn't end up in the spark plugs it could well easy end up in the igniter, destroying it.
First, you must confirm that you have supply voltage at the coil and igniter. A simple test light or DMM will do. Do you have power? If Yes go to second step.
Seconds, connect one end of the test light to + (positive) battery post, the other end to the - (negative) input on the coil. Do you see a flashing light when you crank? If not, replace the igniter.

Most likely the dizzy igniter like mentioned before. Distributor king to the rescue. His igniters are enhanced to withstand 100 degrees more temp than oem igniters and my td-77u was 172 delivered to my door. Try to get that price from Honda haha!
