i have been geting parts gettin ready for a h23 vtec build but as i have been diggin around from sight to sight and i heard a lot of different things on this subject, like its a waist of money and time, h22 is better,h23 vtec is the best setup ect. so what i want to know is 1) which one is better 2) which is cheaper
cuz i basicly know what i have to do to convrt the motor, its just i dont want to do and i would have a better motor if i just get a h22 swap.

p.s. did you know honda produced a factory h2.3 vtec motor :wtf:

 

A straight up H22 swap would last longer. The cost all relies on where you get the parts from.

Yeah, I knew about the engine you speak of.........it was in an Accord.

h22 would be better to me theres not different realy...u would save gas going with h22

 

you will save money going with the h22
spend the extra cash on a buildup

Go for the H22. H23VTEC = trouble, for no gain. Blah blah blah, some people have built them, and babied them, and they lasted. Most haven't.

 

I would prefer H22 also
