Whats up fellas, I need some help with my girls prelude. We took the car in to a buddy of mine to get it painted, now when you hit the door lock switch...it wont do anything. We checked all the connections ( from behind the door panel) and the switch was connected in the right spot. It even sounds like the relay is working cause when you push the switch it you can hear a clicking noise down behind the dash somewhere. What could it be...bad accuator or something??? Thanks for your help in advance

Take it back to where you got it painted and tell them your story.

 

Trust me, thats the first thing I did he cant figure it out either

 

It's electronic. Troubleshoot it. Check for power and ground. If you hear the relay click, good. Check for power at the actuator. Check for power at the switch. You can check the actuator by supplying it with 12 volts and a ground. The only way to know is to start checking the circuit.

 

Do you happen to know where the relays are located?? Behind the dash or under it or in the engine bay
