Default A/C Filter Location

I'd like to change my A/C filter, and I'd like to know if anyone has done it yet on 97-01's. My guess is it is located somewhere in the dryer behind the glove box, but before I go tearing things appart I want to know for sure where to look. Also, how much does the filter cost. Thanks.

They have the pics of both of them in the Helms. If you don't have one already it's a must have.

Anyone know if there's something like this out there for Acura?

Default I'm lost

OK, I followed the link but still can't find the location for A/C filters. I was thinking it would be on the 'DUCT' diagram, but not luck.

Can someone tell me the location for the A/C filters?

Thanks.

What is this A/C filter? I currently have a 95 Accord LX, Preludes have pollen/dust filters?
Sorry, I'm new to Ludes!

I just changed mine last week (yeah, took me a while when I found out the filters are 30.00 each and my car has 2 of them ). For fifth gen Preludes (and I think 6th gen Accords), you have to take the glove box off. Then there is a plastic clip right in the middle of the duct. Just take the clip off and you will see the filter frames. They should have a stamp with a direction arrow that says "air flow". Pull the frames out carefully and the filters just pop out of the frames. My filters were very dirty. They were the originals and my car is now 3 1/2 years old. I suggest shopping around for them, because my dealer had a price of 38.50 each, and I called around and got quoted as high as 44.00 each. I finally found a dealer for 30.00 each. The dealer will probably tell you that they suggest you let them do it as it is not very easy, but it is. They charge like 75.00 for a 20 minute job!

Great, thanks. Do you happen to know the part numbers for the filters? I was about to do an internet search on them..
