Default H23

Does anyone know any website that have H23's in stock. All places I have checked are sold out.

Just a thought but if you are wanting to stick with the h23 you might also look into the jdm version which is the f22b rated at 160hp. You can find it with 35000 miles or so for about 650$ + freight and nearly all parts are interchangeable with the h23a1 besides some internals and maybe some sensors. Its an alternative to consider if you cant afford an h22a or find another h23. The only bad thing I have heard about the f22b is that sometimes you have to keep the intake manifold from the h23 and swap out some of the sensors from your current h23 but thats no biggie.

The H23 I'm talking about is JDM with vtech and 220hp. What do you think about the F20b (accord type-r)

The h23a (blue top) is going to be a pain to find but I have seen several on ebay. Prices ranged anywhere from $3000-4500 and as far as any websites having it in stock good luck. Your best option is to frequently check on ebay and with some of the companies that directly import front clips and engines. A lot of the good stuff goes before the company even lists that they have it but you can put in a request with some of them (could take months though). F20b would require some customizing but possible. Compare all your options first. Good luck! I would be jealous if you did find a h23a .

well it looks like i might just wait for the h23a because if you would be jealous then i know that that motor runs very well. i'm going to drop it into a civic coupe. do you think that i could just role stock with just the motor and complete the suspesnion or do you think i should just drop coilovers then continue on the motor and then finish suspension as the money comes in?

Out of personal opinion I would have upgraded the suspension first and I have heard the same from a lot of tuners out there. If you are asking if it will hurt you, no not in everyday driving but I wouldn't take it to the track until you do. If you find a good deal on an engine swap then you might as well go ahead and get it even if it is before you upgrade your suspension.

I got a H23 in my Lude and i keep delaying and delaying swaping because when i take it to a drive i got no complaints, is fast (of course still a prelude) very stable, the transmision is excellent, and i reach 120 really fast .. still faster than many cars outside .. now on a Civic will be even much better ..
