Default SMelly Prelude

well took the future lude for a spin with my parents. Everythings fine, except the wheel almost fell off while driving? All of the lug nuts were loose, the seller suggested it was an attempted theft at the 14inch alloys Well the dad tightened them, and it was fine. the seller suggested locking lug nuts.

after a while we got a strong rubbery smell- my uncle figured this was an electrical problems-(any ideas?)(taking it to a shop to take care of it anyways)

also the steering wheel wasnt exactly all that steady (mild vibrations) when at highway speeds. an alignment job?

thanks for the help.

The vibrations at higher speeds can be MANY of things.

bad tire, bent rim, ball joint, alignment, baddly warped rotor...the list is endless with vibrations...but that comes with the territory of a used car.

The rubbery smell...see if you can pin point where it is coming from and go from there.
