I think what 5hift is trying to say is try replacing your transmission oil WITH synchromesh, or redline or Royal Purple. There are alot of high quality gear oils out there....look into them, and check your tranny oil level!

ok... this is a dumb ass question... but, how do i drain the transmission fluid and where do i pour new fluid into the transmission.. reason i ask is because i was looking at the owners manual and at the engine bay, and the only fluid "holes" i see are the brake fluid, egine oil, coolant fluid, power steering fluid, washer fluid, and clutch fluid "holes".... unless the transmission fluid is the same as the clutch fluid, i don't know where to drain it and where to pour it..... i see something about a filler bolt. but i don't know where it is or how to get to it. any help guys!!

What year is your car? Is it a 5th gen Lude? If so, you may be covered by a warranty extension from Honda. The shift forks in these cars had a tendency to bend causing grinds at high rpms. A friend of mine went through 3 transmissions before selling his car. Shortly after it was sold, Honda extended the warranty of the transmissions. Check into it before you start swapping fluid.
