before you go flaming me to do a search i already have. which is why i am asking this. i have a 94 lude with a f22b motor. i read a thread on here that said due to the compression differences b/w the stock h23 and the f22b that using premium only was not neccessarry(sp?). ive been using premium since i got the car but the last owner told me he had been using regular without a prob. does it hurt to use premium if not needed? would i gain or lose anything by using regular?

 

if it is not an h22a than it probably doesn't warrant using premium gas

 

Just use regular unleaded. It won't benefit from the extra octane.
