What is the best way to build one? where should I start? Fuel managment? Header? Where?

how much do you have to spend? how much power do you want to make? how much driveability do you want to sacrifice?

lets say I am going to build this over time...2000 would be about what I want to spend. I am college student so tuition comes first.

I would get basic i/h/e then work up to ECU and internal work.
