I'm not too happy to hear about that timing belt tensioner, but I'm glad someone had some ideas of what my problem could be. I got the extened service plan out to 100K miles so it shouldn't cost me more than $100. By the way, anyone have any clue as to how much this would cost without a service plan? Once I can get the car off the road long enough to take it to the dealer I'll let you know the details. Thanks again!

 

If you have the extended warranty it's possible they'll just cover it since it's a TSB issue. If not I thought the deductible is $50 on the warranty. Anyway without it could easily be ~$400.
