Just trying to do a little research, I've got plenty of time before actually having the correct $$ to do anything. I just recently blew ( engine is knocking ) my H23 motor from my 92 Prelude. It's an A4. I'm not really looking to boost or build that much in the future, just something decently quicker than what I had before.. Yea automatics are slow... but even so if I can just find the cheaper route then I'll have to choose that because it's my daily driver, but while the engine is out I thought about dropping in something different.

I just have a few questions...
Will a H22 engine bolt up to an A4 H23 Tranny?
A decently priced site that sells H23's and H22 motors..

I tried searching here and on the web for information about the swap but lil bits and peices of info are scattered and lol sometimes it's hard from me to comprehend the big picture.

I also know alot will say, do a manual conversion, but the only place around here charges up to 1,000 labor. I don't have the time/tools or place to do things myself. I just need a lil info if anyone can do so..thank you for your time.
