They explained the 2.2 was better than the 2.3 because of that magic buzzword - VTEC.

I do wonder what prompted Honda to make a completely different block, though.

I mean like, they could've used the 2.2L H22 in the Si and VTEC editions, but the Si with the same block, no VTEC head. ala LS/Integra style.

:slap:
so?
the things you listed are part of the head of the engine... the cam and vtec technologies are both parts of the upper, top-end of the engine

I would think they are different blocks, considering the H22 has oil squirters and such.

how do you know that chip actually works? do you have dyno charts to prove it? doubt it, and i doubt it even works too. and that f22 isnt fast bro, its a sohc engine in a heavy car. im not trying to bash preludes or anything but thats just like saying the D15B8(the slowest motor in the civic) is fast. and for that muffler, just throw it in the trash immediately because you wont get any power from a 3.5 inch muffler. you need to buy some lager piping to go along with it.
oh and how do you know how fast it is? have you ever driven any other cars in your life? you sound like a 16 year old kid that just got his license and "races" peoeple at stop lights and puts his hazards on after he "wins". just had to get that out of me sorry guys, whew im done.

oh and it's HEADER not headers, you dont have a V-type engine.

Ok, what are some ways I can run rich on my car?
would it hurt the car in any way except for the fuel ecnomy?
Is it a lot of work to remove the cat. converter by myself? how much would it cost to get it done in a shop? would i have top buy some pipe in the place of the cat?

thats it. thanks
Are you running a turbo? NA build up? Unless you can answer yes to either of those your car is not fast. My 94 accord lx slushbox could probably give you a good run

i think the 4th gen preludes weigh less than the 5th gen accords, soto give him a good run you'd prlly need an EX, but yea, a slushbox could give him a run
