Default Torque Converter?! Noise!?

I have a 98 Prelude Base, with the auto/ss transmission. Yesterday when i started my car up i heard a not so healthy light grinding noise coming from the passenger side of the engine compartment. It only makes this noise when the car is in Park or Neutral, Once i put the car in gear the noise goes away and the car drives and performs fine, as it should. I had my friends dad listen to it, and he said it could be the torque converter. Does anyone know if this is for certain. All of your time and responses are greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Lee

Torque convertors generally have no grinding noises. If your fluid is low or full of crud-maybe. I'll suggest that you may have an issue with bearings.
