I guess its not such a wierd smell really, When I'm driving the car(97 prelude) and i romp on the gas (automatic) I get this really strong exhaust/carbon/gas type of smell that is coming through the vents inside. It almost smells like there's an exhaust leak in the engine compartment but i dont see a leak in the header, on the block side at least, and i dont really know what else it oculd be besides a leak somewhere!!! Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks

 

When you hit Vtec, it consumes more oil to handle the excess pressure, so its just the oil burning off, causing the excess smell ..If it comes on during normal driving, theres a problem..

 

yeah this is during normal driving more around the 3000-5000 range
