Default Successful Gauge Job???

I have a 5th gen lude....i did a full LED conversion....im not satisfied with the LEDs behind the gauges tho so i ordered aftermarket gauges that r half red half blue....can anybody tell me how they got theirs on successfully without screwing up the needle or what not???

I took my time and carefully slid them on, one needle at a time. It was a little nerve racking. :nervous: That was in my 4th gen. You are not supposed to remove the needles on imported cars, its OK to with Chevys and such.

well i took the needle off my speedo a couple times cuz it wasnt reading right...but i dont wanna chance it doing them all.....

since the 5th gen lude needles have that extra bit at the end of the needles, is it ok if i make the holes in the gauges bigger??? or will that screw them up

I wouldn't cut on the gauges. Just try to put them on carefully, if they wont go on at all, I don't know. :dunno:
