Default Vtec not engaging until 6000

I put a pulley kit on this weekend and now vtec doesn't seem to barely engage in first and second it doesn't until 6000 rpms. I also installed an aem cai and there was an extra vac tube that went to the old intake box. I just plugged it. Could this be causing the problem or is it a spark problem, fuel prob, injectors, I think the puleys are to tight as well that could be it.. Any suggestions.

Ok so here the deal. I think I am leaking oil or something. I keep putting it in and I see no oil spotts on the ground and do not smell burning oil. SO I have no clue what the deal is. It will be fine for two days then there is no oil in the engine barely at all. CEL come's on and I know that it needs oil. Any ideas?

I Blew A Crank Or Cam Seal About 2 Months Ago Because A Bad Pcv Valve. And The Car Would Only Leak When The Car Was Running So Try Letting Your Car Warm Up For A Little Bit Then Check The Groung For Oil

It's probably your balancer shaft seal, mine blew just recently, it's a chronic problem with ludes.
Honda made a reinforcement kit, it's $10, the fix is easy, getting to it is a little difficult.
