top speed. hmm.

well, more horsepower and longer gears.

longer gears with custom gearbox, or bigger tires. what do you need higher top speed for?

My Lude already did 146 and thats fast enough for me but if you must go faster the only way is to change your gear ratios which is no easy feat and Im not even sure what gears you could get to put it, again you also need the power to push it to these speeds. Its more trouble than its worth when you can already go to damn fast.

yeah, like 98 said, your only choices are to get a new set of custom gears, or the easy way is to run bigger diameter tires, which of course kills your acceleration, and throws off your speedo.

anyway, i don't see the point in driving 150 mph, esp when it takes this car about 3 minutes to get there.

It is gear limited and YES for a large wad of cash you can have custom final drive gearsets made. The downside is that you will sacrifice driveability on the street. If you have a pure track (drag for example) car then that is not an issue. For road racing ther are some other things to consider. ANother thing-Preludes are as aerodynamic as Honda wants them to be-so that will also be a limitation. HP and Torque get the car moving-wind resists beyond a point in the aero envelope.
