what would you charge to install a clutch in a 97 honda lude (2.2 exc. sh)? And, what the heck does the "exc. sh" mean?

 

Usually "exc. sh" means except sh model, meaning "this will not work/fit on an sh. Why do you have it in your User ID? As to how much to charge for a clutch install..... :dunno:

 

excluding the SH trim level.

 

i'd charge ~$200-300.

that's what most shops charge too.

Just a thought from someone who believes in his Dealer tech--They charge ~$60/hr. The Flat rate for a BASE is in the range of 7 hours+ An SH will take longer due to the ATTS. As to a shop using your parts-some do and some won't. Our dealership has an aftermarket parts store and install deals in the Service Department-warranty applies, btw.

 

my lude is not a sh!
it does not have ATTS.
it should cost around 400 to install the sachs clutch I bought for 146.00. (from clutchexpress)
I'm trying to find someone who will install the clutch for about 200.00.
