im bout to swap a engine for my prelude. It has a blown motor with an h23 motor and im bout to swap it with an h22. I need to know if the transmisson from the h23 will fit the h22. Its getting done tomorrow so can somebody write me back asap please. Thanx

You are putting a H22A4 into a 4th gen? Why would do something like that? You should really stick with the h22a1. In this case, I am not sure if a h23 tranny will bolt up to a H22A4.

 

The H22a4 is better than the usdm h22a1. It has larger crank journals and a number of other things changed to over come some of the previous shortcomings.
