Default 2 questions :

Ok, first, for me :
I got the idea to, instead of completely kitting my 89 Prelude, try to mold a BMW E46 bumper. I think the lines are JUST about perfectly matched to fit it and, with a little bondo before paint, mold it quite nicely. But, before I try to track down the one guy I know around here with an E46 who ISN'T a full-on arrogant asswipe, I thought I'd check to see if anyone here could help me with that info. I need to find out if the Prelude bumper and Beemer bumper are comparible in the way they would match to the body. If an inch or two difference or less in overall, I think I could make it work, but anymore and it's not worth it unless I decided to widebody the entire thing which, shit, these 3rdGens are wide enough as it is.
Ok, the other question, for my brother-in-law :
He LOVES the 4th gen (92-96) preludes in every way BUT the dash setup, which, I'll admit I think is ghastly myself. It's just too 70's spaceship-ish. Anyway, he was thinking about swapping a dashboard from another veh, one with slightly more definition to it. We are curious about which veh out there might share the same, or very close, dimensions with the overall shape and size of the Prelude's dash. The front of the dash isn't the object so much as the backside is, where it wil install to the body.
Any help on EITHER question would be GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks.

you should be able to make a bumper w/o much problems. I know a friend who studying mechanics and learned how to make body parts out of fiberglass. I saw some crazy shit, I'm sure the e46 bumper is very possible on a lude but I dont know if that'll look too good. Thats up to you though

I like the prelude dash. I wouldn't want to fvck up a car like that so I can't encourage you to try this kind of swap.

it looks like it would be about 6 or so inches too short on the sides (visual estimate from images), and about 3 inches too wide (based on overall width comparison)
