One of the two wires on my coolant temp sensor are broken right at the plug (that plugs into the sensor). Is there a way to get those plugs apart to repair them? Since this is part of the wiring harness, I really need to find some way to fix it. Can you just solder on a new plug?? I've read that you can't solder wires together leading from sensors because it creates resistance which will cause faulty readings. Can anyone address this?
