Default Tires

Can anybody tell me what the best tire and sizing would be best for a 17" rim. This is for a 92 Prelude.

depends on what you like 35 series tires are really thin and look better i think but more bumpier ride....u can feel all the bumps....and depends if car is lowered or not if its lowered go 35 or you can go 40 for more tire....

Yeah my prelude has been lowered....i just didnt know if you could go wider than the 205's......like 215's possibly......wasnt for sure if it would rub when you turned or if it would even fit at all.

i own 2 prelude a 92 si with 18 in rims it has 225/40/18 and it does not rub that car is for sale by the way. i also have a 94 vtec that is dropped a little it has 18 in rims also with 215/35/18. I work at Discount tire and i would recommend 215-45-17 or the 215-40-17 it shouldnt rub
