Default Prelude 1/4 Times

Alright, i went to the tracks today curious to see what my car runs, because im getting an RSX Type-S and i just wanted to see what my car ran before i get rid of it..

Anyways, if anyone has thier 1/4 Time, post it, and what you got on the car, so we can have an idea, what does what.

its a 93 Prelude S (Automatic) w/ AEM V2 Cold Air Intake and 18" Motegi Racing rims 24lbs each

Reaction: 0.763
1/4: 17.5

PS: Automatic is a P.O.S. + F22A1 + Heavy Rims

That reaction time didn't help you any, either. By the way, what hp does your 93 have?

From a 17.5 to approx. 14.8...that should make you grin when you drive the new wheels. Have fun!

Type S does not run 14.8. All the rags list them around 15.1-15.3 and I have yet to see a slip w/ a stock RSX-S run 14.8. Hell my Dad's BMW 330xi AUTOMATIC beat an RSX type S off the line and from a roll, it took an AEM v2 Intake and Apex Exhaust for it to finally beat it by 1/2 car(I guess they respond well to those). Auto 330xi's run like 15.4. And my Prelude SH stayed even with an RSX-S until 60 when he pulled 1/2 car, again, SH runs about 15.4.

But then again, going from 17.5 to 15.xx is pretty sick.

Don't sleep on the BIMMERS... Driving my mothers 323 I , I hung with a 99 GT and a stock 97 TSI..all manuals. The TSI pulled away from me, of course, but still... I thought i was gonna get raped..
