Default fuse keeps blowing?

hey guys,

I own a 1991 Prelude S and my battery light always stays on. Fuse #37 under the hood keeps blowing.
If I put a new fuse in there everything is fine and the battery light goes out. But the minute i start driving it blows and my battery light turns back on.

Its supposed to be a 10a fuse but even with a 20 and 25 no difference.

I had the alternator checked and it was fine. Could this be a problem with the voltage regulator?

Thanks in advance

sounds like you have a short in that circut I would get a service manual and see what else connects to that fuse and check each item out but the first thing to check for is frayed wires in the engine compartment like the ones going to the solonoids to the carbs, if worst comes to worse you can just hook the charge wire to a seperate fuse back to that circut so you can still drive the car until you figure it out .
