i dont see any problems
it might be an even small enough change that it wont affect your speed sensor

It will fit but it is a bigger sidewall. If you keep the 50 profile you'll maintain the peak of your handling.

It should fit, but why would you want to do this?

Here is how this "change" would affect your speedo:

Speedometer(mph) / Actual(mph)
30 / 31
40 / 41.3
50 / 51.6
60 / 62
70 / 72.3
80 / 82.6
90 / 93
100 / 103.3

I'm putting 205/55/16's on my set of extra rims.....because Falken Azenis Sports only come in that size and not 205/50/16's.....

hmm, why not go with the 215/45/16 size which is not only better for your gearing, but have a stiffer sidewall?

can't put it on a 6.5 inch wide rim. Which is stock. My extra rims are off an infinity I30 and are 6.5 inches too.

Falken say's that it's 7" minimum. But you can maybe get it on the rim.....but the bead could pop off while driving....I wouldn't risk it.

it's not really a problem. plenty of guys are running 215/45 azenis on stock rims. the tire mounting place might not be happy but, whatever.

If tire guys don't like it, I'm not gonna do it. That's just me but I tend to think that they might know what they're talking about.
You could maybe just go with a different brand....
