I've heard some bad things about hi-flo cats. And what specific light are you talking about?

I have the random cat, and NO, it will not turn off the CEL, but you can just pull the radio fuse periodically like I do, just know your radio code. It usually stays off for about 200-300 miles on average, before needing to be reset again. What you may need is an O2 simulator, I haven't gotten around to trying it, but have heard they work.

Good Luck with getting a used cat put on by Honda, since it is against the law in most states to purchase and/or sell used catalytic converters. You'd be better off puttingit on yourself, or having someone you know do it, cause Honda might report you.
