looking at the lude??
im looking at getting a prelude SH and now i here that the ATTS is a pos, however i was wondering if you were to get a Limited Slip Diff. would that eliminate the problem the ATTS causes, if that is not the case then maybe i'll look at a GSR or ITR. I love the H22 and i wanna stick with one. I had an H22 in an accord and i totaled her, and i wanna stick with the H22 but if it's not worth it then i'll venture down another road, so please send some info my way please before i make any mistake. Thx
only thing i can suggest is drive both, weigh the ups and downs and figure out what's best for you. i have a SH myself and i love it. but it is a PITA if i have to replace the clutch, or when trying to find parts like camber kits, LSD, or basic bolt ons like header or exhaust for it. you'd probably be better of with a base and LSD equipped tranny. but that's totally up to you. most people don't modify their preludes that much.
so its hard to find performance parts for the SH? What is the difference in the SH and the base...obviously the ATTS but other than that there isnt much difference other than on the exterior right? So in the long run the base wouldnt be much different right?
the big difference with the sh is there is a box mounted inside the engine bay that parts maufacturer's didnt really care for.... so they just acted as if it wasnt there... and well.. alot of things just wont fit in the prelude SH now because they wanted to use the space wehre ATTS is housed... and ATTS is nasty by the way, really can help your driving if you're a newb or have alot of twisty roads. if you meet either of those requirments get the SH, if not get another model
