Default Motor Question

Why is the slower H23A1 cost more than the H22A1 and H22A4 if the H22's are DOHC Vtec engines with more power? is it that the H23 is .1 liters bigger???

site for argument

dood, i have a h23a1 and i wish i had a h22. i dont know why it costs more, but why would u want a non vtec engine when u could get a vtec one which is rated to be have 30 more hp and torque. go with the h22! oh yeah, what do you plan to do to your engine after you swap it anyways?

i have an H23 in my car already (92 Si), and i was wondering why that one costs more than the H22.

i would obviously want the H22, im not an idiot, but i wouldn't do anything more to it than just the normal mods.
