Default SH overheats

Earlier today I was driving around and my car started to overheat, it only does this when I come to a stop sign....as soon as I start driving the temp gauge returns to the normal position again. I spun the 2 fans and 1 sounds funny..the one on the left side of the car spins smooth and freely...the one on the right side of the car makes a click click click sound when I spin it. So Im thinking there must be something wrong with the motor cooling fan. Is there anywhere I can troubleshoot this without buying parts that are not needed? Please help, Thanks.

check your coolant level and water pump.
It shouldn't overheat if everything is in good working condition

mines does that too...more like on a hot day 95+ degree my temp gauge needle goes up...starts to over heat. at night it be cool. i check my fans, everything is working fine, flush the coolant out and still causing the same problem. rite now im bouts to change the thermostac. and see if that works, next stop changing the waterpump. along with timing belt and etc.
