Default no fuel pressure after engine swap

I just dropped in a new engine into my 92 honda prelude. After I did my engine swap, I found outI dont have any fuel pressure. We checked for fuel coming out of the lines and since there was none, we took a circuit tester to the fuel pump, and the wiring harness on the fuel pump has power going to it, but the pump doesnt seem to turn on. I just can't believe that it would be the fuel pump concidering the fuel pump was working just fine before I wrecked my engine, and even after. I'm not too sure if leaving the fuel line disconnected for a certain amount of time would have put air in the system and air locked it, but i tryed to bleed it by turning on the key and having the line disconnected from the fuel rail but that didnt work. Or if there is any reason my fuel relay switch would have been trigured, and if so if there is anyway to reset it. If anyone has any suggestions on things to try or ideas that might help me please let me know. Thanks alot.

Jason

I talked to a guy at a honda dealership out here and he was saying it could be my fuel cut off relay, he said that it is in control of my spark and fuel pressure. So what I'm thinking that if that is the problem that relay must be in charge of completeing the connecting from my pump, thats why I have power going to it but its not turning on. And why i dont have any spark going to my engine. I checked all the resistances in my rotar/wire/ignition system and they all checked out fine. So I'm hoping this is the problem.

Default Mine was a fuel pump..

It may not be your problem.. But there is a very good diagnostics in the shop manual to test everything. If you are getting power to the pump when you turn on the key for a few seconds it's probably not the wiring and the pump itself.

Its hiding back there but its not too much trouble to change..

It might sound stupid but I've seen it before. Double check that there's gas in the tank!

ive replaced the main relay because i thought it was that. but it wasnt ive took the fuel pump off and run direct power to it from the battery and it just about splutters petrol through, which i thought the pump should be alot more powerfull than that. so i think my problem is the fuel pump aswell.

ive also took off the fuel line to the fuel rail and tried to turn it over but there is no petrol at all coming through and the fuel filter is totally dry.

what do you think.

the car will not start at all at the moment so im going to try the fuel pump.
