Default Need throttle body or tps?

I'm having problems with rough running (mostly at low rpm's) and the car is throwing 02 sensor, EGR valve codes. O2 sensor has been replaced, the EGR has been removed and cleaned, the fuel filter has been replaced. It runs ok until the motor warms up and the ck engine light comes on. You can shut it down then restart and it will run ok for a while even if the motor is warm (again, until the light comes on). My mechanic has narrowed it down to "he thinks" the TPS. He says the voltage is all over the place when he tested it and everything else he can think of, checks out ok. Does anyone have any thoughts about the problem? Since Honda makes the TPS into the throttle body, we're looking for a whole TB. Will the TB from a 2.3 motor fit an h22a4? Are there any others that will fit? Is there a good place to find this part at a good price that anyone knows of?

you can get just a tps as well from Honda..

it also sounds like a possible vacuum leak... has your mechanic checked all the vacuum lines?

Yes, the vacuum lines were ok. He did say some of them were routed incorrectly which he rerouted, but it didn't solve the problem. Already ck'd Honda for the TPS and you have to buy the whole throttle body to get the TPS from them. The price (according to the mechanic) is a whopping $700 from Honda. That's why I'm posting here. This HAS to be something fairly simple, otherwise the car wouldn't run as good as it does when the CE lights not on. It just sounds to me like some sensor is giving the ECU some bad information and the car is adjusting for something that isn't there. Hence, it runs ok til the light comes on, sensor throws out some bad information, the car trys to adjust the air/fuel mixture or something, throws in too much fuel or too much air and starts running badly. I'm no mechanic, but that just makes sense to me. I still think the key to figuring this out is the fact that it runs good cold, idles fine and only loses performance when the CE light comes on (whether the engine is actually hot or cold). C'mon......think!! Somebody can nail this. I know it.

It sounds like a bad tps, you can use any Honda tps sensor, they're pretty much the same except for the dpfi d15 engine. I'd get one from a junkyard and test it out.

Either that or the tps is out of adjustment.

That's what I'm trying to do, but finding any part of an H22 motor on a junk yard isn't easy. They don't tend to stay around long. Is there some way of dismounting the TPS from the throttle body on Preludes? Anyone done this successfully? If I can swap the TPS for something out of a car (motor) that's a little less popular it would be much easier, but as far as I know right now, I have to buy the throttle body to get the TPS. Anyone know if a different (maybe Accord) throttle body will bolt up?

Give me a good offer, and we can work from that. I know they're pretty expensive from the dealership, but I'm usually good with giving good deals.
