Question about stock seat color - what's going on?
Has anyone else noticed their stock charcoal/gray seats (5th gen) developing a lighter color, almost like a bleached-out/faded tone?
This is only happening on my driver's seat, leading me to believe it's perspiration seeping in and changing the color of the seat, possibly worsened by the sun.
If anyone has any ideas of how to restore the true color, I'd really appreciate your help. A standard seat shampoo made no difference...

It happens from sitting on the seat so much, that the fabric gets matted down in one direction. If you take it to a very good detail shop and ask them to do a full detail on the interior, the seat will look like new.
