Default prelude motor overheating help

my car was overheating and i got water steam coming out the tail pipe

so i changed my head gasket to a brand new one and i just finished the job

anyhow now the car stilll overheats but no smoke comes out the tailpipe. i think my water pump is bad but i dont know how to check it. The car will overheat after about 15 or 20min. its funny too because the fans on the radiator are not coming on when it does overheat but when i turn off the engine the fans turn on. This is awww annoying

somebody give me some advice

Have you done any other stuff ... bleed the cooling system, make sure the coolant water mix is sufficient, check the thermostat, etc.??

Make sure the radiator is full and there is coolant/water in the overflow tank. Take the cap off the radiator. Go in and start the car. Turn the temp all the way up on hot and turn the interior fan on. Let the car idle like this until the radiator fans kick on twice. Any air in the cooling system will work its way out to the radiator cap. Shut the car off and cap the radiator. On your next drive, see if the over heating problem persists.

you know what it is

the stupid fan on the radiator just wont turn on
even when it gets hot while the car is running the fan will not turn on and cool the radiator

if i turn my heater on fullblast the temperature will go back down to normal.
if i turn my car off the fan will turn on and cool the radiator off

does anyone know why the radiator fan will not turn on while my car is running and it goes hott. i checked all my fuses and they all look good

i cant make sense out of this

make sure your fan is plugged in. also check the temp sensor on the front side of the head where the radiator hose is
