My friend, who owns a 93 prelude (non-VTEC), wants to do an engine swap. (He doesn't feel he's getting enough performance out of his car). He's looking for suggestions on what kind of motor to swap in.

I suggested an H22A, mostly because I hear many great things about it. Do you have any suggestions or advice I can relay to him? (He's internet-less for the time being. >_< )

Edit: If so, where can one purchase such an engine for a reasonable price?

Edit x 2: It's an Auto, and he wants a 5 spd, how much would getting the transmission changed be?
