I'll tell ya what, any turbo unless your h22 has been sleeved is a no no. You WILL blow out your ringlands trust me. Instead of putting 3 grand into a turbo setup why don't you build your block first. I'm assuming you've got stock internals but if I'm wrong I'm sorry. My block is at golden eagle right now being sleeved and built with forged internals. I chose to up the compression from 10 to 1 to 11.5 to 1 JE's. You'll make more power just by building the block and head than you will boosting 5-6 lbs! If you're ultimate goal is 400 plus hp I wouldn't recommend boosting an h22 at all unless its bullet proof which it would be if you put ductile iron sleeves and better rods and pistons! Just make sure you choose the appropriate compression on the pistons to determine how reliable the power will be if going turbo!
The turbo kit will not being going on till the botoom end is built, sorry guess forgot to mention that. I already have the Eagle rods sitting in my garage im going to get the JE's 9:1 compression with the darton iron sleeves. Im only going to boost 10-12 soon as i build the bottom end only until i get a EMS. Plus will be using a AVC-R with the turbo. But thanks for the advice i appreciate it.
