Default 92 rear speaker install...so, what fits?

I searched different forums for about an hour when I got home and came up with nothing. Hopefully someone can help me. I just bought a 1992 Si. The car came without rear speakers so I went and bought some today. I got some 6.5" Infinitys. As I go to install them, I notice that there's a bar in the way and it seems there's no way to get them to fit. Do I just need to find some speakers that fit, or is there a way around this? Thanks, Mark.

Edit: ok, so what speakers will fit in there? I chose Infinity because I know they have great quality. I want speakers that will still sound great, and will fit without making a custom rear deck enclosure (my next option )

you may need to get a speaker with a smaller mounting depth. I did the same think with my prelude as well so don't feel bad......

LOL those bars got in my way too. So i got some Image Dynamic speakers and installed them in the oem housing that the 1993 honda prelude i have.

the first stupid thing i did when i tried to fit some diamond speakers in was remove those bars which hold the trunk up. big mistake the trunk slamed so hard after i did that. and the trunk became super heavy. Those bars are to hold the trunk up and make it super light. Dont take them off, its a pain in the ass to put them back in.

the image dynamic speakers i got barely fit but hey they sound great
