I have a 4th gen lude that is red. I am going to be getting the front windows tinted but dont know a good precent. If u have a any pictures or recommendations please post.

 

in NC, the legal tint limit is 25%...IMO, thats not dark enough. If you want a nice, dark tint, I would go anywhere from 15-20%. If you wanna completely black it out/ not have anyone be able to see inside, go with 5-10%. Find out your states legal tint limit, then go from there. If you go under the legal limit, get pulled by a prick cop and he finds out its under the limit, he can write you a ticket, or pull off the tint right there...also, you wont be able to pass inspection.

 

i have 20% on my silver 4th gen
its pretty dark but at times with certain lighting you can see inside slightly.
on the road at night you cant see inside from another car at all which is what i want

only time u can see inside is if im under a street light or something

i have gotten numerous tickets for that shit, the cops by me have this little box that hangs on the top edge of the glass, they tell you to roll the window down halfway. its got a number display on it, my tints came up 17% even though i paid for 20%. the legal limit in NY is 35% i believe but since i ditched my coffee can exhaust i havent gotten a ticket for tints, so i dont give a shit anymore.

Law here is 50%, but I've never been hassled

 

15% in back, 15% on rear windows, 20% on passenger and driver windows. it looks good

 

i had 5% on my black 4th gen...it looked good

 

I ended up getting 35% it looks nice but its not dark enough. I live in cali and its illegal to have any tint on the dirver and passanger door but i dont think i will get bothered by cops with 35

 

Ive got 15%.
