Prelude vs 240 SX
Which is a better overall car 5th gen prelude or 97' 240 sx w/ sr20det engine swap?
also can you swap a sr20det s15 (blacktop) into a 97' 240 sx or what?

240sx w/ SR20DET would be faster, also it is rear wheel drive, so it depends on your style... RWD = better for racing and stuff like that, also 240sx = drift machine... but I dunno i'd personally rather have a 5th gen Lude cuz it looks much better...

the S14.5 with an SR20det will be a faster car overall. More HP, RWD, better balance, though it needs some suspension upgrades out of the box. At low HP levels, it'll be a more even matchup.
the blacktop will bolt right into a S14/s13, as will a redtop, and an RB25 with some light modification.
the lude is a handsome car, but i'd absolutely love an S14 with a JDM front end, or even an S15 front end conversion.

i need a good place to look at tha engines and compare prices and find a reliable company to get it from so far ive just been lookin at totaljdm but im not sure if theyre legit cuz theyre from canada n all not sayin canadas a bad place or n e thing but if i got messed over theres not very much i kould do cuz of them bein in canada n all? .. so if you kno n e good places lemme kno??

didnt want to start a new post but same subject my friend was gonna get a 240sx "s14" but now hes getting a wrx how bad will he be able to beat me. i have the just about stock H23 lol buy the way post way back about the celica same guy she sold it that fucer lol

yea the DET is pretty fast out of the box, and with more boost, intercooling, bolt ons it will be even faster. if you want speed get a RWD 240sx and swap a DET into it.
if u want show/style/handling, and decent quickness, go with the lude.
as far as a wrx goes, you will get roasted in your h23a1 lude.
i hang with wrx's and beat some of them, but that is highway or 20/40 punch only, not from a dead stop...i am even in WHP and weight with them.
