Default JDM Prelude type S piston in H23??

Hey has anyone had any luck using either USDM H22a pistons or even JDM H22 pistons in an H23.I've looked at aftermarket pistons but they recommend sleeving the block on H series motors and they're hard to find for H23.

i think the wrist pin would need to be modified to fit the rods and there might be clearance issues? is this for a turbo or na build?

it's possible, but i'm not sure it's the smartest option.

I just wanted to go N/A.That's why I thought it would be a fairly economical solution. My other concern ,other than clearance issues, is what is the compression ratio going to go to with the H23 head?

with what you'd spend trying to build up your h23, why dont u just swap a h22 longblock in there??? H series VTEC is music to the ears

wont fit. the combustion chamber roof on the H23 head is much shallower than the H22 combined with the 1mm of extra length on the H23's rods at TDC will create interference problems that cannot be overcome without a deck spacer... thus defeating your intended goal of upping compression.

Thanks,I'm going to look into more aftermarket piston options. As fars as going VTEC,I want to see what I can do with this motor.I have a spare H23 in my garage that I'm porting myself so downtime isn't an issue.I've been in a "built" Vtec Prelude and it was awesome but I'm just trying to be different I guess.
