i have the same car and my dad has the same car.

Lude is 15.4@91
E320 is 15.8@90

However, the street starts (5-60 mph) are the same at 7.8

If you can drive, you'll take him.

Yup, see your problem is you HAVE to know how to launch properly, with him, he just floors it and he's gone... you have to know how to launch to get good times...

make sure you've got a girl waving a handkerchief, and don't jump out of the car until you're almost at the cliff. try not to look over at him too much, you'll show your hand.

In first gear and the clutch in, feather the throttle between 3000-5000 rpm while you're waiting for the light to change (or handkercheif to wave). When it does, put the hammer down, dump the clutch, and hold on to the steering wheel with both hands. Shift right at redline..... just watch the tach and forget everything else. Do this and you've got a damn good chance at winning. Just make sure the A/C is off.

"I need some NOS!!!"

Hahaha. Color coordinated flame will work too.

Go and smoke the benz! For all of us!!!!

"For freedom!!!!"

Practice launching if you didn't already. If you tires scream like crazy that's about right.......... 3000 but under 4000 rpm to launch seems to work for my 4th gen prelude...

Since VTEC doesn't engage untill about 4800, it's best to keep it above 4000 and as close to 5000 as you can when you launch. Anything much over 5000 and you'll just sit and spin, so that won't help either.
